How long ago did I create this blog? Its been a while, and I havent really felt like updating, whatever, noone reads it anyway. Well Im going to talk about a few bands I have been listening to as of late.

The Veils...they are really good. I found them browsing around itunes and then downloaded them from somewhere else, and have been listening to them at work on the ipod. I really like the singers voice, I cant say enough about how important I think it is for the singer in a band to have a good voice, and Im not talking about an american idol good voice, Im sure simon would rip any of the bands I listen to a new one, but who cares what he thinks...I hate that show. Anyway, check out The Veils.

Blind Pilot...also really good. I found this band on the t.v. show Chuck. They have lots of good bands on the show, whoever picks the music for that show knows whats up. They are a twosome with a drummer who plays with brush sticks for a cool sound, and the singer again has a really good voice. They are really mellow and I think anyone would like them.

Grandaddy...one of my top 5 all time favorite bands. They are so good I can listen to them for days on end. I found them a couple years ago while watching a skateboard video(I have found 90% of the music I listen to all from skateboard videos, but not so much as of late), I cant say enough about how good this band is, but not everyone will like them, they are kind of weird. The mastermind behind all the songs is Jason Lytle, he skates and is a genius. There is a song on one album called skateboarding saves me twice, about how skateboarding saved his life, like it has with mine, who knows where I would be today if it werent for skating. Unfortuatley Grandaddy broke up last year, so no more new stuff. I would check out the cd sumday, and just like the fambly cat, both really good, but like I said, kind of weird. Jason Lytle has a solo cd coming out soon, so its basically a new grandaddy cd, I cant wait.

earlimart...I will say that this band is im my all time top 10.
